Apprentice Tec

If you are interested in technical diving, but haven't yet met the prerequisites for the DSAT Tec Deep DIver course, you should consider enrolling in the DSAT Apprentice Tec DIver course.  It's also the subcourse of the full Tec Deep Diver course and involves extended no-decompression dives at 40msw/130fsw using EANx mixes with gas switches.

Prerequisites:

• Advanced Open Water
• Enriched Air Diver
• Deep Diver
• 18 years of age
• minimum of 50 logged dives, 10 using EANx, 12 deeper then 18msw/60fsw, and 6 deeper then 30msw/100fsw.

Cost:

$700.00 includes gases, instruction gear and certification fee, books are separate.

Tec DEEP DIVER

Are you up to the challenge?  The DSAT Tec Deep Diver course takes you past recreational and immerses you in the world of technical diving.  This course involves extended range no-decompression and decompression dives to 50 sw/165fsw using EANx mixes from 21% to 100% oxygen gas switches.  You will also plan unlimited decompression stops and train to respond to foreseeable emergencies.

• Rescue Diver
• Enriched AIr Diver
• Deep Diver
• Apprentice Tec Diver
• 18 years of age
• 100 logged dives with 20 using EANx, 25 deeper then 18msw/60fsw, 15 deeper than 30msw/100fsw

TDI Advanced Nitrox

This is the second level of EANx training.  This course examines the use of EANx 21 through 100% (Oxygen) for optimal mixes to a depth of 130fsw/40msw. The object of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EANx 21 through 100% (Oxygen) for divers not requiring staged decompression.  In addition the course will show you why cleaning and modification to equipment is required for use in conjunction with EANx beyond 40%.

There are two direct applications of the Advanced Nitrox course, one is diving with hyperoxic breathing mixes you may increase bottom time at moderate depths.  This course will prepare you to properly use decompression Nitrox mixes over 40% for safety stops and decompression.

Prerequisite:

• Be a minimum age of 15
• Show proof of 25 logged dives
• Nitrox qualified
• if taught in conjunction with Decompression Procedures, then minimum age of 18.

Cost:

$350.00 that includes Gas, Certification fee, equipment required, books are extra.

TDI Decompression Procedures

The TDI Decompression Procedures course is available for two types of divers.  First, "Recreational" divers can take the course to develop new skills and understanding, second "Recreational - Technical (RecTec)" divers can take the course as an integral component of their initial education.

While it is easily conducted as a stand-alone program it is often run in-conjunction with the TDI Advanced Nitrox program.

This course examines the theory, methods and procedures for planned stage decompression diving.  The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45msw in less taught in conjunction with the Extended Range, or DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course.  The most common equipment requirements, set-ups, decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including oxygen and Nitrox) are present and will be discussed in detail by your TDI Instructor.

Prerequisites:

• Have a minimum certification of SDI Advanced Diver, Advanced Adventure Diver or equivalent
• Show proof of twenty five (25) logged dives
• Be a minimum of 18
