Rescue Diver
PADI Rescue Diver Course
“Challenging” and “Rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.
You will learn:
- Self rescue
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing panicked divers, and
- Rescuing unresponsive divers
Prerequisites:
- Must be 12 years or older
- Have a PADI Adventure diver certification or equivalent
- Be trained and current for first aid and CPR with the previous 2 years
Included in Course:
Depending on the style of course you plan on taking
- Rescue diver study manual
- Rescue slate
- Certification fee, and
- All required gear (Course dependent)*
* Gear included if students is a non Commercial Diving student. If training strictly as a sports diver, the student requires their own mask & snorle;.
